Notes: A mature yet elegant wine, a wine that expresses a quiet confidence of one who has lived and gained from life’s experiences yet is in no hurry to divulge its secrets.
The nose is dominated by the complex tertiary aromas of leather, mushroom and black olive as well as a meaty character that beautifully balances the notes of ripe black and red fruit; hints of spice add interest and complexity. The palate offers nice acidity which freshens up the ripe fruit, tannins are beautifully integrated and the finish is long.

Notes: … and here it is… our first single-varietal Tempranillo, the Spanish variety that, it’s been claimed, was planted in the Iberian Peninsula by our ancestors the ancient Phoenicians thousands of years ago.
Let me say right away I’m hooked; dare I say it’s my new favourite?
This is lusciously delicious.
How to describe it? Floral, herbal, leafy with strong notes of black cherry.
There’s a wonderfully mysterious quality about it that I find utterly captivating.
Our first Tempranillo certainly won’t be our last… It will definitely feature regularly in our portfolio.
