Aged in French oak barrels for 15 months, it offers a floral / resiny aromatic profile of lavender, orange blossom, anise & mastic accompanying the fruity / nutty flavors of quince, white peach, orange peel, pomelo, marzipan & hazelnut. Long lingering finish.
Food Pairing: Goes particularly well with Moghrabieh or any dish with soft warm spices.

Notes: What a difference a heatwave makes.
After the relatively cool summer 2019 which produced a fresh citrusy Sauvignon Blanc.
The intense August heatwave just before the 2020 harvest resulted in a Sauvignon Blanc that’s all tropical warmth.
Papaya and guava dominate the nose with hints of pineapple, pomelo, chamomile and honeysuckle.
A beeswax texture coats the palate and gives the wine a rich, luxurious body.
